Venice Urban Lab
Assemblea Soci & Brindisi del triennio
On December 9, 2024, the Venice Urban Lab General Assembly was held at the UNISVE Laboratory in Venice, with both in-person and online participation. It was a key opportunity to take stock of the activities carried out in 2024, present the projects underway and to be continued in 2025, and discuss together in a proactive way to possible new projects.

Some crucial issues for the future of the organization were discussed during the assembly. The preliminary budget for 2024 and the budget for the year 2025 were presented, both of which were unanimously approved by the members present.

During the meeting, the renewal of the Board of Directors for another three-year term was announced, with the current members confirmed in their respective positions. The decision was made unanimously, reflecting the confidence and consensus of all present toward the work done so far. The renewal of the council marks another cycle of activity that promises to continue with commitment and continuity, carrying forward the projects and initiatives already underway.

During the assembly, updates on ongoing projects were provided and members were informed about the launch of the new “Open Call for Theses” initiative within the Venice Urban Lab Knowledge Hub.
During the second part of the assembly, we engaged participants in Venice Urban Lab's events and initiatives in the three-year period 2021-2024 for an interactive workshop. After a brief summary of the activities carried out by the association, the workshop offered a space for discussion and dialogue between members and participants, in an informal and collaborative atmosphere.

The goal of the workshop was to think together about the association's future directions, focusing on initiatives that reflect Venice Urban Lab's mission and impact, both locally and globally. An opportunity to think collectively and chart the course for the coming years, with the intention of continuing to respond to urban challenges in innovative and participatory ways.

After the assembly, members and participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, opinions and planning during a traditional aperitivo with cicchetti, wine and music, also celebrating the association's three years of activity.

Thank you to all who participated, both in attendance and remotely! Our commitment continues to build a more sustainable and livable Venice, together.
