The Municipality of Venice, Murano and Burano has convened the Second Committee to discuss the findings that emerged during the public meeting “A CITY TO LIVE IN, A LAGOON TO EXPERIENCE” on two topics: the future of the island city as a vibrant, lively and repopulated city, and Venice’s role in the current global geopolitical context.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 2 April 2026, at 5.30 pm, in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Venice Murano Burano, located at S. Lorenzo Castello 5065/I in Venice.
It will be an opportunity to continue the participatory process, to explore together the issues, challenges and proposals gathered during the Assembly, and to help transform the dialogue into concrete prospects for the future of the city and its lagoon.
The Municipal Committees are open to the public!
All citizens – young people, adults, the elderly, newcomers, students, associations and committees – are invited to attend and join the discussion!
Further details regarding the meeting can be found on the City of Venice website:
