Venice Urban Lab

​To find shared solutions to concrete issues, targeted meetings are created addressing a problem for an intense period of time with all stakeholders, professionals, public and private investors, operators, administrators, associations and citizens. This methodology called Charette is an articulated process to address in a simple way the solution of complicated issues.

In operational practice, we refer to the experience of the Committee for Architectural Culture and Landscape of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and to many similar committees in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that promote the Baukultur. The meetings apply a transformative co-design methodology, suitable to facilitate the discussion of complex design issues, requiring a cross-sectoral and creative approach, helping to develop collaborative and sustainable solutions for buildings, neighborhoods and the design of urban life.
